Yuko Style Blog Entry 001

From Never Grow Up Pinterest

Yuko here!

I know you just started reading Calista's diary on Monday, but I have a spoiler alert!  She meets me, she introduces me to the BFC and amazing things happen!

The BFC is totally awesome and has helped me through a lot!  The best part is they encourage and support me to do what I love and even help me with Yuko Style!

Kaitlin is an amazing addition to my blog and helps a lot with accessories and styling.  She makes a lot of her own clothes and jewelry, and I love her jewelry.

Because this is a doll blog over all, Yuko Style will be about doll fashions although particularly focused on the BFC of course!

If you have any suggestions as to what type of fashions you want to see, please comment and we will work on making an entry about it.

Today's Yuko Style will be about Liberty Jane.

Liberty Jane is a fabulous company that sells patterns for us dolls.  Forget your grandma's doll clothes, Liberty Jane makes modern, fashionable clothes that fit today's trends.

Here is another spoiler alert - We got Calista to be able to take photos of us!  She's a great photographer!  (So is our blog editor Syren Franco... if you want photos taken check out www.SyrenFranco.net)

Check out our pen pal from England, Brit, modeling the Liberty Jane Patterns!

This Steam Punk ensemble is so cute!  I love the jacket, I've been meaning to get a new pleather jacket.
Perhaps Syren will make me one!

Wow!  brit is a great model, isn't she?
Are PeaCoat's a big thing in England?
I love this coat!  And it goes with so many outfits!  I always thought it was a PeteCoat.  I wonder why it is called a PeaCoat, maybe the original designer really likes peas.

This reminds me of my tutu!  I wonder if Brit dances Ballet like me too?
This is definitely an outfit worthy of school pictures!

I think Gianna would absolutely rock this dress.  Although Brit is rocking it pretty awesome already!  Check out those boots!  yes, Liberty Jane has patterns for shoes too.

This is the same outfit Brit was wearing under the PeaCoat.  Isn't the skirt so cute? I think animal prints are so much fun!  But what I really love in this outfit is the sweater.  I can definitely see myself wearing it to events!

Thanks for checking out Yuko Style!  I will try to post every week!  Luckily my new bff's are here to help me when I have too much school work going on for my blog!

Friends, Fights, and BIG Secrets - Calista's Diary

Wednesday 4:30 pm When it comes to keeping secrets, I am officially the Queen of Sealed Lips.  I can't tell you hoe many totally hush-hush things I know about my friends.  Until today, I've never had to keep one from them. It all started when Ms. Street asked me to stay after school.  Aliesha, Noelle, Addison, and Kaitlin gave me a funny look, but I didn't have any more of an idea than they did. "Teacher's Pet." whispered Dina, as she left the room with everyone else.  I just ignored her. Anyway. it turned out Ms. Street wanted to talk to me about this special project for the top-secret class Fun Day. OPERATION CLASS FUN DAY DATE: Last day of the semester MISSION:  Write questions for prize winning-quiz MISSION EXTRA:  Be quiz host on the day (a little like that cute guy on "Lucky Numbers", so dreamy!). PROS:  I already know loads of amazing facts, which I can turn into great questions. CONS:  Keeping it from my friend...

BFC Ink Pen Pals - Nocolette from France (Fan Story)

Nicolette - Bonjour!!!  Je m'appelle Nicolette!  I live in France and am one of the newest member of the BFC as their pen pal! By the way, shameless plug for our editor's Jafra Cosmetics business...  Have you heard of Jafra?  They released this really good smelling perfume called "Paris et Moi". Here is a video! Pretty neat, right? You can order yours at www.myJafra.com/Fabulous What do you know about France?  Syren has been there when she was younger and got to tour most of the country and even stopped at Monaco and Switzerland.  I prefer the provence, that is the countryside of France, but of course most people when they think of France they think of Paris. I can't tell you too much about myself per the official BFC story-archs because there was not much out there for Syren to find.  So this is all original concept here... I currently live in Paris, but I am from Toulouse, known as "La Ville Rose" (The Pink City) because a lot of our buil...
